The flip side of this is the manager’s responsibility: a manager who explains the why behind the work, clearly and specifically, gives people the raw material to zoom out in the first place.

Without it, they’re left guessing at the connection and the guess has a much higher chance of being wrong.

The "Magic Patterns" really land. They’re a practical way to help execution-driven people practice strategic thinking without abandoning what makes them strong. This is the kind of translation skill you only really learn by watching how senior leaders talk, and you’ve made it teachable.

This is very helpful whether you work in corporate or in freelance. When you are working to achieve big goals this will help you get there.

Why this matters, zooming out, priority and outcome?? Lives are at stake and the quality of life for millions. That matters. The global picture confirms it in several countries. Zoomed out. Nothing is more important. Priority. We can learn what needs to be learned to prevent such suffering and see what could not be seen. Outcome.
